THE BONES TUNNEL (Argentina, 2011, 94’)

Synopsis:
Seven men escape from prison by digging a tunnel. Apart from the difficulties they experience with the prison guards and the other convicts, they still have to handle conflicts among themselves. Inside the tunnel they came across a sinister finding: human bones, proof of a dark era in Argentina. In a moment of desperation, the fugitives made a pact with the dead if they managed to escape they would tell everyone about their existence.

He is a TV and film director and has developed his career between the cities of Buenos Aires and Barcelona. He directed: EL OTRO LADO – A news program with Fabián Polosecki. It was awarded many prizes, among which we find a "Martín Fierro". "INFAUSTO" – A short film, fiction, 17 minutes, was invited to Festivales de Medina del Campo (Spain), Icurts (Spain), Argenkino (Berlin). Lately, he has made in Argentina a series of documentaries called "ALGO DE JAZZ", "COLOR DE LEÓN" and "MUSEOS" broadcasted on channel Ciudad Abierta.

TIME BENDS is a story about a star who wanders between reality and virtual life. Terasa is a beautiful soap opera star. Her career requires her busy running about. Alberto Jorge Seixas dos Santos was born on March 20, 1936 in Lisbon, Portugal. In 1958, he started to work as a film critic. He studied in Paris, at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC) in 1962 and, in the next year, at the London Film School.Seixas Santos, who belongs to a generation of film club lovers, is part of the cinematic movement called Novo Cinema (New Cinema) and started to shoot documentaries. In 1970, he was one of the founders of the Portuguese Cinema Center. BRANDOS COSTUMES, his first feature-film, was selected to the official competition of the Berlin International Film Festival. His most recent feature-film, MAL (1999), was nominated for Golden Lion at 1999 Venice Film Festival and also received Best Film Award at 2000 Coimbra Caminhos do Cinema Português.

HAYDE BRE (Turkey, 2010, 115’)

Synopsis:
It tells a story of a man, who has been ripped off his roots deep in the soil, witnessing the fast change of the world and then fading away. Saadet goes to Macedonia from Istanbul with her children to attend the circumcision feast of her son Orhan as well as visit her father Sabanaga and mother Mamo. As bad luck would have it, Mamo dies in an accident. Saadet persuades ?abanaga to come to Istanbul with a heavy heart as he does not want to go at all. A tacit, deep and passionate relation is continuing now between Saadet and the man, whom she saw on the balcony opposite her house.

ORHAN O?UZ was born in K?rklareli as the son of a family which emigrated from Yugoslavia. As a child, he was interested in photography and painting. He started his cinema adventure as an assistant cameraman at the age of 16, and he shot four short films with his friends. He held photograph and painting exhibitions. In 1978, he worked as a director of photography with many directors and with their encouragement he shot the movie "Her?eye Ra?men" in 1987. He prefers to tell the stories of lonely, quiet and marginalized people from all strata.

Yuthlert Sippapak was born in Thailand. Growing up in northeast Thailand, Yuthlert developed a strong interest in the arts from an early age and at 18 went to Bangkok to study fine arts at Silpakorn University, where he received a degree in interior design.
Yuthlert set up his own design company, which he worked at for a year before he moved to New York City, where he studied at the Art Students League of New York. This put him in touch with a group of friends who were involved in the film business.
Yuthlert worked for a time doing architectural drawing while also studying filmmaking on his own and developing his script-writing abilities in New York. In 2002, he established Mahagan Films Co. Ltd. as his production company. And in 2003, he directed and wrote feature film February.

Going home for his grandfather’s funeral, thirty-year-old Daikichi meets an unfamiliar child in the garden. His mother explains that Rin is his grandfather\'s illegitimate daughter by an unknown mother. The girl is an embarrassment to all his relatives and nobody wants to take her in because of the scandal. Annoyed by their attitude, Daikichi decides to take care of Rin himself, even though he is single and has no experience raising a child. Later released MONDAY and BLESSING BELL were respectively in 2000 and 2003 invited in Golden Horse Film Festival. All his films have won 9 awards.

Rabindranath Tagore\'s elder brother Jyotirindranath Tagore, a western educated bright young man from the 19th century Bengal met the Octogenarian Lalan Faqir and drew a portrait of the poet saint in the former’s houseboat afloat on the river Padma. Jyotirindranath, an urban intellectual exchange views with the man of native wisdom. Their exchange of ideas forms the cinematic narrative of this film. The narrative is a saga of the life and time of Lalan Faqir and his liberal sect who lived a life of high order in an otherwise superstitious 19th century Indian society. Lalan inherited the best of the liberal and enlightened tradition of Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam to develop a philosophy of life which is extremely secular and tolerant. Thus became an easy prey for the fundamentalists of the Hindu and Muslim institutions. They were the paralleled stream flowing freely in the heart of rural Bengal when men like Rabindranath Tagore were germinating ideas of the Bengal renaissance.

Andi Rogenhagen, born in Westphalian Marl, is both a writer and director. He studied photojournalism at the University of Applied Sciences in Dormund, made a name for himself as a documentary filmmaker before shooting his first fictional feature film: For THE FINAL KICK he had people in 40 different countries filmed simultaneously while watching the final of the World Cup on television. He then combined those images in the editing room to create a truly unique documentary. That film was showed worldwide and was awarded the Adolf Grimme Prize award.

Shu, a bachelor, is a not-very-reliable worker in the village\'s motor-repair shop. The friends he grew up with have followed very different paths. Er Zhu has taken over the village mine and launched his own Mining Group to operate it. Yixin has opened a tutorial school in the faraway provincial capital. And others are still villagers. When he gets together with his friends, Shu tends to stay silent, like a tree forgotten in the wilderness, unless the others start laughing at him.
The operations of the new mining cause subsidence in the village. The evacuation of villagers to new apartments in the county town begins. Shu instead takes off for the provincial capital to ask Yixin for a job. He does odd jobs in the school and finds that watching the pupils reminds him of his own childhood. Shu lost both his stern father and his beloved elder brother when he was a child. His father often appears in his dreams, but (to his regret) his elder brother doesn\'t.
Shu fell in love at first sight with Xiaomei, a deaf-mute girl. On the night before the wedding, Shu\'s elder brother at last appears in his dream. But the wedding is a disaster, and Xiaomei soon leaves to rejoin her mother.
The worries and intuitions which have long flashed through Shu\'s mind start to make sense to him. He begins to make prophecies, and many of them come true. Suddenly Shu becomes a respected prophet, addressed by everyone as "Mr Shu".
Everyone has moved to the town. Only Shu embraces a tree in the deserted village. Suddenly his estranged bride Xiaomei back and speaks for the first time: "Let\'s go home."

Synopsis:
